Kristen is the Director, Government Affairs for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA), which operates John Glenn International, Rickenbacker International and Bolton Field airports in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Kristen joined CRAA in June of 2016 and is responsible for the development and execution of government relations strategies and the day-to-day management of government relations issues at the local, state and federal levels.
Prior to working for CRAA, she served as Vice President, Government Relations for the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. Her past experience involved representing the business community in a variety of capacities including within the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s Public Policy Roundtable, the United Way of Central Ohio’s Public Policy Committee, The Mayor’s Green Team, and Columbus City Council’s Small Business Roundtable.
Kristen earned a Bachelor of Specialized Studies at Ohio University with a concentration in journalism and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis on local government and urban planning from The George Washington University.
Outside of work, Kristen is passionate about serving her community. Her board commitments have included serving as president of the Harrison West Society and as a member of Center of Science and Industry’s (COSI) Young Professional Board. Past community achievements include recognition as Columbus Business First’s Forty under 40, one of Columbus Alive’s People to Watch and graduation from both Leadership Columbus and United Way’s Neighborhood Leadership Academy.
